Cemetery Website Features

Guestbook:  The Guestbook feature allows registered users to post memories and comments on the personalized web page of the deceased. Users also have the option of posting their entries publicly, to registered family and friends only, or so that their comments are visible only to that user.

Photo Album:  The Photo Album is a tool that lets registered users upload photos to the deceased’s personal web page for others to view.  Using this tool, one may also organize and edit photos.

Tributes:  The Tribute feature provides a variety of options to registered users.  With the tribute feature, users may post audio and video clips of the deceased, or of another reminiscing about the deceased.  They may also upload photos, drawings, prayer cards, letters, essays, or anything else to keep the memory of the deceased alive in the hearts of the living.  The Tribute forum allows users to grieve and memorialize their loved ones using a variety of creative outlets.  These tributes can be made personal, so that only the creator has access to their tributes, or they may be shared publicly for all to view and comment on. 

Profile System:  The Profile System gives each registered user a unique username of their choice and a password-protected account.  The Profile System allows each user to upload photos, add personal information, and customize their settings to give them a personalized web identity.  By creating a profile, users may find other users, bookmark remembrances and tributes so that they may be found more easily on the next visit, and much more. 

Add / Remove Friends:  The Add/Remove Friends feature works with the profile system to create a web-based community for users.  Registered users may add or delete friends who may have known a loved one, so that they may share memories and keep in contact with each other.

E-Commerce Shopping Cart:  The E-Commerce Shopping Cart feature allows users to purchase merchandise or services online without leaving home.  Users may order merchandise, such as books, framed photos, and so forth, or provide payment for maintenance services and other cemetery fees.  Using this feature, users may also order flowers to be sent to the grave or donate to a charity of their choice.

Donate to Charity:  Used in conjunction with the E-Commerce Shopping Cart, users may donate to a charity of their choice through a link on the cemetery website’s webpage. 

Send Flowers:  Used in conjunction with the E-Commerce Shopping Cart, users may order flowers online through the vendor of the website owner’s choice.  The cemetery owner will have the option to have the flowers delivered directly to the grave, and a picture of the arrangement and memorial sent to the purchaser.

Update Remembrances:  The Update Remembrances Feature allows you to update remembrances, or obituaries and burial information, instantly.  To remain up to date, sometimes changes need to made several times a day—so why bother wasting your time calling your website company to do it for you?  As easy to use as Microsoft Word, the Update Remembrances feature allows the owner complete control of the website with extra efficiency and accuracy. 

Affiliation Manager:  The Affiliation Manager tool is a tool that can be used in a number of ways.  Those buried in the cemetery who have remembrances posted online may also include affiliations, such as branches of the armed services, clubs, and school information.  The Affiliation Manager catalogues and organizes these affiliations so that users may view other late members of the same organization and search for other buried in the cemetery using affiliations.  

Burial Locations:  The Burial Locations tool allows users to view the burial site information, such as plot number and location relative to cemetery landmarks.  As an added feature, website owners may opt to post a map of the cemetery for easier navigation.

Create Slide Shows:  The Slide Shows feature allows registered users to upload photos of their loved ones and create a slideshow.  Users may set the slideshow to music, pairing a Christmas slideshow with Christmas songs or photos from a birthday celebration to the tune of their loved one’s favorite song.

Create Family Tree:  The Create Family Tree feature uses cutting-edge software embedded in your website that allows users to create their own family tree.  Users may add an unlimited amount of relatives and ancestors, upload photos of each person, and enter biographical information such as birth and death dates, hobbies, schools attended, and so on.  The Family Tree application also allows users to invite other friends or family members to help them with the creation of their family tree.  Once the family tree is completed, it may be either burned to a disc or printed for the next family reunion.
